Panorama Trail on the Lüneburg Heath

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Well, a good bike path looks different. Lots of cobblestones.

Better to take the sandy path. The pavement isn't bad.

Highlight • Lake

The lake was formed when the subsoil was compacted by heavy military machinery after the Second World War. Today the lake lies harmoniously in the Osterheide and has never dried up, although it only feeds on rainwater.

When the heather blooms, it looks beautiful.
When it doesn't bloom, everything turns brown.

Beautiful tour through the heath, beautiful scenery, lots of sandy paths, but no problem with an e-bike.

I picked a complete tour... in perfect cycling weather... the beginning wasn't so great because it was along the road far too much... but the last few kilometers made up for it... cyclists in a sea of purple... wonderful. It was worth it for that... next time I'd rather go all the way through the heath...

Showing Translation

A fairly normal round, today with beautiful cloud formations

Showing Translation

Medium difficulty tour with beautiful views and all types of road surfaces: country roads, cobblestones, gravel and sand paths with and without roots. In bad weather or after rain the small forest paths can be very muddy.
