Copenhagen, the city's reputation precedes it. Capable people who know how city planning works. In the midst of numerous canals and small bays, Copenhagen is a magnificent city right in and on the water. The people are noticeably happy, this partly picturesque picture is characterized by great buildings, both old and modern. In between there is an extremely ingenious network of cycle paths over bridges and wide paths, with a few bathing spots in the middle of the city - these northern people are magnificent...

Coastal Road Near Copenhagen

Highlight • Cycleway

A wonderful road with wide bike and footpaths along the sea. You can see across the sea to Sweden. The only downside is the road; without cars, the whole area would be a bit more natural.

September 1, 2024,113 / 🇩🇰 Egebæksvang - København🌤️
Day 113 / Today we went to Copenhagen. Into the city. On the best bike paths. The good infrastructure ensures a lot of bicycle traffic. Lots of people with children and all their belongings are out and about. Sometimes a bit too much for me. Tomorrow we're going into the city again. Without a bike.

The cycle path to Copenhagen always leads along the coast with beautiful views. The highlight of the day comes after a few kilometers - the Museum of Modern Art Louisiana - a cool place. This time, too, the exhibitions are inspiring.
Nicolas Pirosmani - a Georgian painter unknown to me and Ragnar Kjartansson.

Summer vacation 2024!

We took the ferry from Travemünde to Malmö and spent a whole day exploring the old town.

Today we set off on the first leg. We took the train from Malmö to Copenhagen (it was a bit of an adventure due to train cancellations and overcrowded compartments). From there we went along the coast, partly directly on …

We get out of bed early in the morning and after saying goodbye to Michael, our landlord, we drive to the train station. Anna takes the train back to Berlin and Matthias is already waiting to continue north.
The last km in Denmark can be driven well and dry. It goes on the ferry to Sweden and it starts to …

I left Copenhagen early in light rain. The rain even stopped. Unfortunately, the Blixen Museum was still closed, I didn't want to wait 2 hours.
I ended the stage unintentionally, hence a 2nd part.

Just a short tour today, to Copenhagen. Now let's dress up (well, it won't work for me😀) and explore the city afterwards.

Copenhagen is a beautiful city and so we started early to see something. The cycle paths are well developed, but are used multi-lane and are quite busy in the city. Cool are the stopping aids for cyclists in front of the traffic lights to rest your foot or to hold on 😉 so we went past the Bastion to the …

Helsingborg - pleasant and a modern city with a harbor and flair... The little ferry over to Helsingør, I don't need any more duty free. - along the coast, the afternoon in the Lusianna Museum of Modern Art... The way to Copenhagen was not far. Be careful - in Copenhagen it is easy to get run over by other cyclists.
