Lake Skadar (also Lake Shkodra or Lake Skadar; Albanian Liqen/-i i Shkodrës, Serbian and Montenegrin Скадарско језеро Skadarsko Jezero, historically also Italian Lago di Scutari) is the largest lake on the Balkan Peninsula and the largest lake in Southern Europe.
