Actually, it would have been nicer if the weather had played along. But it's still worth a visit. And there's a lot more to walk and see here.

Bremen: Big city, Freimaak and museums in a wonderful autumn. Somehow we had to go out to Deichwind and a free-standing fish stand. Wremen is a good 80 km north of Bremen and close to the emigration and climate center in Bremerhaven.

We set off for Wremen in bright sunshine and a little wind.
First we walk along the dike towards Bremerhaven - always keeping an eye on the container port with ships coming and going.
We head back along the dike safety path to the cutter harbor.
We finish off with some delicious fish in the Wremer Fischstube.
