Unfortunately we couldn't continue the tour along the river as planned... The reason for this was that the small and narrow path was not clear but was overgrown with very high grass and reeds and the ground was partly ankle-deep. A walk through the Skjern Enge. The path initially ran along the Skjern Å stream and the pasture fence. We passed my highlight: beautiful Scottish Highland cattle. We took the cable ferry twice and, from the birdwatching tower, saw several European spoonbills foraging in the water.

That was a really nice tour. Thanks to everyone who shared them here. Even though it took us longer than planned, it was super nice. We were really lucky with the weather. It was cloudy but sunny and at 18 degrees it was perfect for the tour.
