If you are looking for the oldest, most direct, fastest and most popular route (starting early helps) up Table Mountain and want to really get your heart racing, then this is the right place for you. A trail that consists mostly of rock steps, "stair climbing for advanced climbers" so to speak. 2.5 km and 650 meters of elevation gain are overcome. If you don't have enough time to fit a climb up Table Mountain into your vacation itinerary, we highly recommend it - we were impressed!

The weather must be carefully observed, otherwise it can be very dangerous when climbing or descending. Always take a windbreaker and water with you. And hat! However, it was useless for me, as there was a strong wind during this hike. You can't see it in the photos. But the train was closed because of wind and so everyone had to get off again.
