Under-The-Rim Trail (North) Trailhead

Highlight • Trail

This trail is 23 miles in length and helps to bridge the northern and southern sections of the National Park. The path will take you through various canyons and past the beautiful hoodoos in them. A backcountry permit is needed in order to hike in this area so visit a rangers office before setitng off.

One of the highest points in the National Park, the views from Bryce Point will leave you breathless. From the vantage point you look down into the Amphitheater and all of the hoodoos that occupy it. The area is even more beautiful when viewed at sunrise, as the rays make the entire canyon glow with reds and oranges.

Bryce Canyon National Park is probably one of the most spectacular in the southwest of the USA.
We were here in 2014 and I was really looking forward to it 🤩


Unfortunately, such small photos don't come close to conveying HOW breathtaking the view of these rock formations is!
