The day started promisingly with a lovely hiking trail along Lac du Brousseau. But shortly afterwards I was back in the cornfields. Today, however, the temperatures were bearable at under 20 degrees, with wind and later constant rain. Fortunately, there was a small shelter halfway there so I could spend my lunch break in the dry.
