Cycle Path on the Loire Bourguignonne Levee

Highlight • Cycleway

The bike path has good asphalt, without any potholes! The floodplain is between the Loire and the dam.
We experienced the Loire as a calm, unobtrusive river.

While we were eating lunch in Bourbon-Lancy, the first rain shower came down.
The little town has an …

Beautiful cycle path along the Loire and the canals, with a railway cycle path in between, all under trees and easy to cycle even in hot weather.

I can’t check into the accommodation until 5pm …
