Down to the coast was great. A small ascent to the col then downhill all the way with many hairpin bends. I didn't fancy going back up that on the road with all the cars so went for the MTB route which was amazing. Best MTB ride I've done. Think best bits of South Downs Way in the Lakes in …

Super nice roads albeit busy along the coastal road. The climb up Col St Ignace is a gentle incline with a nice set of restaurants at the top. The backside is winding beautiful road with nice views and dense green forest. Drivers are courteous and mostly patient.
