October 2, 2025,Etappe 12 Drenthepad Gieten naar Borger
After the Gieten bus station, just past the bike shed, take the forest path on the left to reach the starting point of the stage. A lovely walk across the Hondsrug, Drouwenerzand, and via Bronneger with its dolmens to Borger, home to the largest dolmen in the Netherlands.

Nice walk today, if it wouldn't rain and thunder all the time. Always threateningly dark skies, rain gear ready for use and finally everything put on. Bit of a shame, it distracts from the beautiful area I was walking through.
Still enjoyed it though...😄
