Sidur Przechodniów Memorial

Highlight • Monument

Monument commemorating Gorlice Jews - Sidur Przechodniów. The building has walls in a projection reflecting the shape of the "Star of David", with crowning beams forming two interpenetrating equilateral triangles with four open entrances. In 2015, several dozen matzevot were excavated from the floor of the now defunct building of the Beszt synagogue in Dworzysko. Now the matzevot have found their place on the walls of the monument.
A place created so that the memory of the history and terrible events of World War II would never be lost.

Pyramid in Zagórzany - a 10-meter-high pyramid tomb from which a large cross with the crucified Christ grows, located in the village of Zagórzany near Gorlice (Lesser Poland Province). It was created for the family of the Counts Skrzyński, as a smaller copy of the famous Egyptian pyramid of Cheops in 1931. Next to it, there is also a tombstone with two crosses, in which the count's former trusted employees, who were gardeners in the palace park located nearby, are allegedly buried.

Statue of John Paul II

Highlight • Monument

It was created on the initiative of Jerzy Wojnarski, a stonemason from Gorlice, who also represented the Gorlice Riflemen's Brotherhood. The design was created by Zdzisław Tohl, a sculptor and director of the Dwory Museum of Karwacjan and Gładyszów. The installation of the monument was personally supervised by the dean, Fr. Stanisław Ruszel, the parish priest of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
