Erroneous Rocks

Wild Holes (Błędne Skały) Labyrinth

Flat table mountains characterize this area. They were formed 100 million years ago when there was still a sea here and various sediments were deposited. Eventually the Sudetes rose, the sea retreated and erosion created deep crevices, labyrinths, groups of rocks or individual striking rocks.

These forms of erosion are particularly pronounced near Błędne Skały in Table Mountain National Park. You pay a small entrance fee and walk through the labyrinth on narrow boardwalks. Every now and then it gets a bit tight and you have to bend your knees, but the impressive experience makes up for all the effort.
