Postl Alpine Inn

Highlight • Mountain Hut

Large inn that has been expanded and remodeled several times. The garden is perfect for a stop after a hike on the Hohe Wand. If the weather is good, you can watch paragliders from the garden or you can book a tandem jump yourself at the in-house flight school.

12.09.2018 - Whether summer or winter it is always an experience for young and old. Beautiful hiking trails are taken care of and the rabbits and some other animals are accessible even in winter for caressing and watching. The huge playground and the petting zoo is fabulous. Recommended a small walk to the game reserve, is also feasible for the little ones.

A quiet forest path in the Hohe Wand Nature Park, which leads pleasantly through dense trees. The section offers plenty of shade and is particularly suitable for relaxed hiking on warm days. Away from the larger viewpoints, it shows the quiet, natural side of the Hohe Wand.

Red Deer Enclosure Hohe Wand

Highlight • Natural

The game reserve tour on the Hohe Wand is a superlative family classic. There is hardly a child from the greater Vienna area who has not been here with their family at least once in their life. You can see mouflons, ibexes and, particularly impressive, a large herd of deer that you can even feed.

August 9, 2022,Naturpark Hohe Wand - zum Skywalk und retour
Went hiking with my wife and the kids. The starting point was the Hohe Wand Nature Park. Once to the Skywalk, made a picnic there and back again! ☺️

After my hand and middle finger got a splint, biking is now out of the question - I'm going to hike more now 👍🏻😀
