Fantastic weather and a breathtaking landscape more than made up for all efforts! 👍😎 The trip over the Vider Joch is only recommended if the paths are absolutely snow-free! As an alternative, you can take the detour via Landeck. This route is much longer, but there are also much fewer meters in altitude to overcome!

Today's day began as yesterday ended - with rain!
After 6 km of steep uphill, @Sabine and I made the ascent to Idalpe from the middle station a little easier by lift (500 m).
There is currently construction work going on between Idalpe and Flimsjoch - a terrible mud fight! 😟

After successful repairs and hardware replacement, we went over ski slopes I knew at the Idalpe to the highest point of the Alpine crossing, the Filmjoch. At 3°C and light snow flurries, we crossed the Outer Viderjoch (the highest point of this Transalp at …

Used the Silvrettabahn in Ischgl to get to the Viderjoch. At the intermediate station, we did a little lap around a reservoir - nice trail and beautiful reflections in the lake.

From the Viderjoch the two easy trails down to Switzerland - flowing, well maintained.

No rain today, no sun, but ❄️. The planned route had to be replanned today as well, as some passages were closed due to the storm, but there were still a few trails in the end.
