October 11, 2025,Abfischen am Schlossteich Hermsdorf

We started at Hermsdorf train station and walked to the castle. The traditional fishing event was taking place at the castle pond – an exciting event with a long fishing tradition. We continued through the idyllic castle grounds and the forest along the Grosse Röder river to Grünberg. Back at the castle, we finished off with a freshly smoked trout.

We were already in the Seifersdorf Valley in 2023 - in the very well-known section around the Marienmühle - komoot.com/de-de/tour/1101942568

Today it was the section between Grünberg and Hermsdorf Castle. I hadn't heard of the castle until now - we can highly recommend a visit and also the valley section!
