Highlight • Castle

First documented in 1238, Castelbello Castle dominates the Venosta Valley from a rocky outcrop on the left bank of the Adige River. From the cycle path, it is clearly visible above several apple orchards.

Find this loamy, fast and rocky run (slippers when wet!) also when there is no TT on...short but sweet! If you don't follow the TT 2019 loop simply ride up …

Barbarossa Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Flowing roller coaster with a few jumps (S1). Those who prefer it to be more technical, rooty and rocky - quasi more natural trail - are better served with the Tarscher Alm Trail (S2).

August 12, 2023,Latscher Alm –Tratscher Alm Barbarossa Trail
You can make nice rounds /
At the end of the Barbarossa trail, which is more on the technical side than a flow trail.... The lower part/trail only for technicians... Very difficult for me, it wasn't fun... But you don't have to go over to the valley station and down the street as an alternative

One of our favorites - the Barbarossa Trail. Reward for the ascent at the Latscher Alm and if you haven't had enough: Tarscher Alm to supplement.

Showing Translation

Even though it's not particularly sensible, I really wanted to ride the right trails

Showing Translation

Tedious climb, but worth it, Barbarossa Trail down is great (if it's not raining and you have the right bike!)

Showing Translation

You can get up with an e-bike😊.
And is rewarded with a great descent

Showing Translation

We didn't ride the lower part due to rain. Local s3 classification.

Showing Translation

Unfortunately the trail was wet and therefore a step more difficult. Still, he was a lot of fun.

Showing Translation

The Barbarossa Trail is very smooth for me, was fun.
I drove with a young woman again and again, looked out for each other. Only when she addressed me with "you" three times in a row....😉😅
