This is part of a parkway that runs parallel to the N395. It is pedestrianised and well maintained. It is part of a nice run that can begin at Camping Albufeira and take you to the tunnel at the far end, running under the 'Discoveries' roundabout (which takes the name of the avenue that the roundabout intersects, Descobrimentos). If you run through this tunnel, you travel under the traffic above. The tunnel itself is quite spectacular. Once through the tunnel you can run through Albufeira Old Town and beyond. This was a first and short test run for me to try out Komoot on my phone. I encourage you to run on to the Old Town and the beach and enjoy this wonderful area.
