This has been on the todo list for awhile, definitely the hardest thing I have ever done. Europes longest continuous climb was hard for me, it may not be the steepest but its tough. The decent was epic

Los Cristianos - El Teide - Round Trip via Guia de Isora
Very nice scenery, 30 km national parc. - Don't take the route through Chirche unless you are extremely well prepared ! - 20% incline at places! - It cost me a lot if time and energy. - The main road TF-82/TF-38 would have been the better choice!
Today I climbed via Arona (thanks @Daniela K. 😊 for the route) to Vilaflor. And then on, on to Boca Tauce. 🗻 The climb begins at Los Cristianos with 33.1 km and 2117 m of elevation. 📈 I cycled up the mountain and was alone for a long time. Then Bora-hansgrohe roared past - once, twice, three times at 5-minute …

Superb circuit. Very difficult ascent of 30 km without flat areas, but it's worth it, we're not driving on Mars!!!

Best stick to the main roads on the ascent. The routes through the villages are shorter but too steep for most riders.

Nice ride, only took the wrong turn on the way there, it was a lot shorter but 21%, so better to follow the main road then it is not super steep, the roads are nice.

We rode up the steeper southern side and descended the western side. I can see merits of riding the opposite direction, but I think our route was better as the descent was awesome and there were more cafes on the ascent 😁
