Brownsea is the largest island in Poole Harbour. Owned by the National Trust, the island is a haven for wildlife. Red squirrels dart amongst the woodland and peacocks prance around the lawn in front of Brownsea Castle.

A fine sandy, gently sloping beach with clear water and views over the Purbeck Hills. A quieter alternative to the rest of Sandbanks and Bournemouth beach.

In the distance you can see the white chalk of Old Harry Rocks, an iconic landmark on the Studland peninsula.

Branksome Chine Beach is the perfect location to enjoy the sandy shores of Poole and Bournemouth. The beach backs up onto a promenade where you can find a shop, bar, and a restaurant. It is a wonderful spot for swimming having gained itself an iconic Blue Flag award, that assures good water quality.
