From the cross-country skiing center Bretterschachten on Arberstraße, we hike today either flat or slightly downhill then slowly rising towards Mittagsplatzl.
Soon it is a little steeper up via root paths. After about 40 minutes we reach the Mittagsplatzl at 1340 m.
