This is where the trail to the Reichenhaller Haus and the Hochstaufen summit (1,771 meters) starts. A really nice path, for which you should be sure-footed and not afraid of heights.

There's hardly a more beautiful hut in this area than the Reichenhaller Haus. Despite the arduous climb and the deprivation of washing due to a lack of water, you'll be rewarded with one of the most beautiful views anywhere.

Short vacation in Bad Reichenhall ⛰️🥾 did a mountain hike, we were out from about 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with many breaks, 🐌 we didn't go that fast 🙈

Today in really good weather and again after 10 years on the Hochstaufen. The weather held up too, but the tour is quite a challenge.... 1200 m altitude are also "a Hatscher". The Reichenhaller house was also open, so there was at least a decent snack upstairs.
PS The time of the tour recorded by Komoot is not correct - …

Something is wrong with the times. 3.5h and more than 6h break?

Well... But it was nice!

Showing Translation

Be careful, this is definitely not just a hiking trail. Absolute sure-footedness and a head for heights are a basic requirement. You have to climb vertical rock in places without rope or safety equipment and it goes down 1000 to 1200m. But that only applies to the Steinerne-Jäger-Steig, which goes up on the right in the picture; the descent on …
