There's a large park-and-ride lot at Altenkirchen train station where I left the car. I took the RB90 train and then bus 420 via Hachenburg to Höchstenbach.

From there, the trail led along a variety of paths and nature trails. The wintry landscape, the fresh snow, and the soothing tranquility made the hike a truly wonderful experience. I hardly encountered …
