Otterberg Town Hall

Highlight • Historical Site

The baroque building was erected in 1753. The year in Roman script is carved above the portal. In the beautiful tower there is a bell that used to ring when there was a fire.

A nicely paved climb, not too long but still fairly challenging.

A beautiful park with a natural pond, a water treading basin, and several benches. The Becherbach stream flows right next to it and empties into the Lauter river not far away.

Here you get an explanation from a former railway employee how the process and the tasks of the former signal box were. It's nice that this is still maintained today.

October 25, 2022,Mit Bine von Otterbach zum Reiserberg mit Sonnenuhr und zurück
Today I wanted to show Sabine the sundial on the Reiserberg. In Otterbach we parked in the passenger car park and were able to take the cycle path in the direction of Olsbrücken.

At the beginning of the village we went right up towards Schallodenbach and on to the sundial. As always a magical place.
