St. Barbara Branch Church, Schleid

In 1840 the three-axis hall building with a lower, drawn-in choir was built and expanded between 1880 and 1890. The western front is accentuated by a square ridge turret with a pointed helmet. The semicircular closing, profiled entrance portal and a circular window sit in a high, round-arched blind niche. Three windows illuminate the hall, which is vaulted with a flat barrel, on each side, one on each side of the choir. All close with round arches.

A wooden tabernacle altar from the 1920s with two reliefs, reminiscent of Art Deco art, and figures of saints of different ages make up the furnishings. During the restoration of 1992, the wooden gallery and the current interior design with a classically designed decorative border were added.
