A short, beautiful, and very frosty Westerwald loop starting in Seck, past the frozen Seck ponds to the always stunning Holzbach Gorge 😉 There was hardly anyone there; I think the partially very icy paths deterred some people from going through 🤔 Beautiful and thoroughly frozen, without a ☕️🍰 at the Hofgut (closed for holidays 😦), we headed back.

An idyllically situated pond near Seck. A beach and restaurant with a large camping area 🏕️. Combined with a stop at the Cafe Holz-Bach Schlucht, it's a dream. However, we continued on to the Blasius Steig trail. These two trails can be easily combined.
