June 17, 2023,Blick auf Burg Are – Ahr Runde von Altenahr
I didn't get over the Teufelsley, it was too dangerous for me. Maybe there's a way around? I changed the tour to the Schrok (very steep path) and to the Teufelsloch.

Again Altenahr and Teufelsloch
In order to get the round done, it was clear to us that we would get wet feet once through the Ahr 🌞👍😊
Nice to see that some hotels are open again.
Unfortunately, in some places nothing is happening, for whatever reason 🤔😔

Something for hikers with healthy feet. But very beautiful.

Showing Translation

At km 2, take the lower trail, as the descent at the upper end is very slippery.
At km 4, skip the detour to Teufelsley, as climbing without safety equipment is too dangerous.
At Laach, resist the temptation or requests of some companions to take the bus.
Bring plenty of water, sturdy hiking boots, surefootedness, and fitness.

But I was fast on the way with the altitude difference 👀thanks Komoot 😅

Showing Translation

It was still a muddy slide on the Ahr 😅

Showing Translation

Steep ascents and descents. A firm footing is essential. Rest of the tour along the Ahr, recording ended prematurely due to battery exhaustion. The Ahr must be crossed once on foot, max. 20 cm deep, as the bridge was destroyed by the flood in 2021!
