Monte Faeta Summit View

Highlight • Summit

Irresistible viewpoint. Challenging climb from campo di croce. With an "easy" ebike but the bike must be managed, without electric help the climb is complicated, heavy but within the reach of anyone who has a decent workout because the ground is good enough. A bit of self-propelled gravel towards the top when the Slope increases also breaks the boxes a lot but with a 22-36 you go up. 😄 Maybe the last two straights are really tough for me as I have several kilos too much and I don't train consistently on similar slopes. But it is worth going up there. I recommend to the less trained to try and at the most finish it on foot or even do it all on foot as the view is beautiful. Downhill towards the cross field there is no need for special driving skills. The first 20 meters of descent are steep with an immediate left curve that gives the impression of not being able to turn at speed. A telescopic or lowered seat is a great starting point for safety. But the descent is also enjoyable.

Campo di Croce–Santallago Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Section that connects Campo di Croce and the Santallago estate. It is a wide, beaten and slightly sloping road. Anyone can ride it!

After having traveled a nice stretch in the woods and a panoramic stretch on a provincial road, we reach the Santallago estate. A place immersed in nature that extends over a plateau of about four hectares at 800 meters above sea level. There is a restaurant with a large parking lot and surrounded by chestnut, fir, beech and cherry woods. Lunch break at about 13:00-13:30.
