Bike tour from Bingen am Rhein to Koblenz to the Deutsches Eck via the left bank of the Rhine bike path

The headwind thwarted my plans to ride my annual 100 km tour today. I'm pretty disappointed, especially because I started with a lot of motivation and in the best weather. I only got as far as Bingen - so only 66 km far - but was so exhausted as if I had covered more than 80 km. I simply wouldn't …

No more strength to write much! 🤥
At thirty-two degrees Celsius we broke into the air-conditioned hotel in Bingen. I don't need to mention that we've burned more than tan in the meantime. Although it hadn't rained, the air could be cut today. And that already in …

Very nice ride along the Rhine, good paths tarred or paved with picnic areas, parks and street cafes to linger and relax, behind Rhens there is a fountain with cool drinking water at the Rhenser factory - many thanks to the factory
The trip is highly recommended, although the return trip was a bit strenuous due to strong headwinds.

It went well today, except for the broken rearview mirror.
The weather is very good, I'll be at Justus's tomorrow. Another 35km.

This is probably the most beautiful section of the Rhine, I've already walked the Rheinsteig there. I was curious to see what the cycle path would be like, apart from the fact that the path often runs alongside a federal highway, the area with the Loreley, the many castles and the nice towns is really impressive.
