Along the Danube Cycle Path - there are many alternatives here as we eventually found out.
Neuburg an der Donau - beautiful old town -
Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time in Donauwörth - as we still had a way back of about 60 km to go.

Today we cycled 67 km from Donauwörth to Ingolstadt. Along the way, we enjoyed the views and took in some culture. Worth mentioning are the Roman Bridge, the old town of Neuburg and Ingolstadt, and the meadow landscape outside Ingolstadt. Those with a suitable bike and heading towards Ingolstadt can bypass the railway crossing (which is what we did).
