An exciting and informative park.
The Wilderness House offers lots of information about the forest and nature.
The animals, such as the prehistoric horse, aurochs, wolf, and lynx, weren't so keen to show themselves, which is a shame.
However, the observation tower is very easy to climb, with nice, flat steps and a beautiful view.
All in all, definitely recommended. …

Although we didn't see any other animals besides the aurochs, it was a worthwhile and highly interesting tour. The House of Wilderness impresses with its fascinating nature exhibit and truly delicious food. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again.

Very spacious outdoor enclosures for the animals, which can hide well from the curious eyes 👀 of the visitors - at least the lynx and wolf.

A short evening stroll through the national park. We were supposed to see lynx and wolves, but instead we saw wild horses, Heck cattle, and plenty of glowworms, also known colloquially as fireflies.

A visit to Falkenstein National Park has become a must because we love animals...
There were plenty of aurochs and Przewalski horses 🐎, unfortunately the last she-wolf in the enclosure died 😢unfortunately I wasn't able to see one of my favorite animals.
Easily take the forest railway from Bodenmais via Zwiesel to Ludwigsthal.

Unfortunately, we didn't see any wolves or lynx, but otherwise it was a nice walk. The House of Wilderness is pretty well done, and the Stone Age cave is decent. The only entrance fee is €4, so definitely do it!

After the weather gods didn't mean it well with us today, there was only a small round at the "House of Wilderness". Lynx and wolf (neither of which were visible) could be observed in outdoor enclosures. What you saw were the wild horses and the aurochs.

For the New Year we're going to HaZuWi with the Woid-Bahn. Oide Viecha and the new exhibition, have fun in the children's adventure room and eat something.👌
