The Isar is now showing a completely different side. The wild river is now a wide, slow body of water that is repeatedly held back by reservoirs. Sometimes we cycle on the dyke, sometimes next to it. The Isar is no longer exciting. But the landscape around it is becoming more and …

A highlight was of course the growing rock of Usterling. It is almost 40 m long and 5 m high, making it the largest stone channel in Bavaria.

Today it was still quite fresh in the morning. The Isar cycle path is very nice to ride 🚴
However, we found it a bit boring at times, as several kilometers are straight as a die just below the dam.
Dingolfing has a nice town center, ideal for a coffee break ☕🥐
