Seilerklippe

Highlight • Natural Monument

Beautiful path and the cliff is a highlight on this natural path. It is also called the water path, I had to experience that for myself. 😂🥶

Hanskühnenburg (HWN 144)

Highlight • Mountain Hut

In every season there is an opportunity to rest with hospitality. It is highly recommended here in winter during the week.

Sösestein

Highlight • Natural Monument

The Sösestein (730 meters above sea level) is a freestanding, approximately 12 meters high, single-standing rock on which you (even smaller children) can easily climb up. Upstairs, up to 3 people can sit on the barren rock and take a break and enjoy the view. ATTENTION> Please keep an eye on children at the top!

Great Weir and Morgenbrod Hut (HWN 146)

Highlight • Mountain Hut

Where the stream flows into the Söse, there is the large weir. This regulates the water balance of the Morgenbrodstaler Graben, which is fed by these two watercourses. The Morgenbrodshütte is located a little above the large weir.

A very beautiful and varied tour through the Upper Harz Mountains. Hanskühnenburg Castle is a particularly great place for a break. The mix of Harz forest, water features, and viewpoints makes this stamp-collecting route truly worthwhile. 🌲🥾

"5 stamps!"🖐 That was Mausi's wish. Although I felt more like a warm punch 🙄💨💦, I decided to go for it, much to Mausilein's delight 🥳

Today there were only two of us in the group👩🐭 so the Sunday round was longer.

Suddenly it's autumn everywhere 🍂🍄🍁Such bright colors, very ingenious 🥰

Today we continued our stamp hunt ♟️🎯. The starting point of our tour was a hiking car park 🅿️ on the outskirts of the Osteroder district of Riefensbeek-Kamschlacken 🏘. The weather was a lot more pleasant than yesterday with slight clouds ⛅️ and temperatures around 2️⃣2️⃣°C🌡. First 1 ️⃣ we went to the stamp office ♟️ 1 ️⃣ 4 ️⃣ …

Revival Tour in Dry Conditions

My spectacular deep-snow hike in February 2021 left a lasting impression:
The travel report from that time says it all. After a "near encounter with a wolf," I climbed for miles in deep snow with soaking wet feet to Hanskühneburg. I couldn't really enjoy the route at the time because I was very preoccupied with …

Today we started near the Sösetalsperre. The wet path to the Hanskuehnenburg was very dry today except for a few sections ☹️, but good for the shoes! On the way down it started to pour, but it was over quickly. The sun came out and we saw a lot of fire salamanders on the trails. The first time during our …
