December 31, 2023,🏔Harrachov kleine Wanderung🌲🙂⛰️

Last day in Harrachov we did a short hike to the Mummel waterfall.

It rises on the ridge of the Krkonoše Mountains on the Mummelwiese (Czech: Mumlavské Louka) near the source of the Elbe and has two source streams, the Great Mummel (Velká Mumlava) and the Little Mummel (Malá Mumlava).

We had actually planned a Pentecost hiking weekend, but unfortunately an "accident" in the family prevented us from doing that....🤷
So at least I walked to the Mummelfall early in the morning before heading back home.
It was still a nice, albeit very short, walk through the forest...😊🌧️
And the waterfall early in the morning, with no other people around, …
