Probably the most demanding stage for a gravel bike. Immediately after the beautiful descent down from Volterra, it's a long climb up the mountain again. The landscape around Volterra consists mainly of fields that stretch over the hills. Further south there are more forests again. And there the trails await, some with large chunks, stone steps and challenging climbs.
