Departure: car park near the church of Westmeerbeek. Very nice hike found at komoot. Bit of tarmac. Pass in front of the ruins of the Sint-Michiels church being restored (15th century-Gothic style). We follow the banks of the "Grote Nete" well flowered in spring for a long time. The river bed lined with stones containing iron gives a rusty color …
