Bicycle tour in Belgium, round trip from Val-Dieu monastery via the city of Liege along the Ourthe and the Albert canal and back to the monastery. In perfect weather. The highlight of the tour is the military installation from the Second World War, La Forte du Battice, a sad but cautionary passage in history, may it never be repeated.

Tour of many surprises...that's what I would like to call it...Aubel...one of the most beautiful villages in the Herve region with a great market on Sundays...also on Tuesdays...a little smaller...also: wonderful to ride: Ligne 38...old railway line...new for cyclists...also:...really steep into the Meuse valley...to: endless panorama of Liege...and later a challenging short climb...by the way...when it gets flatter...yummy ice cream …
