Ojców Castle

Highlight • Castle

Ruins of King Casimir the Great's castle (14th century). Today, the remaining fortifications, some residential quarters, a tower, and an entrance gate remain.

The castle also offers beautiful views of the Prądnik Valley, with Chełmowa Góra to the south.

Tickets are required to enter.

A good place for a stop on the route, unfortunately you can not get into the forest by bike

View of the magnificent Krakow Gate and nearby rocks to the west, and on the other side (east) the Crown Mountain, Glove and Ciemna Caves. A wonderful place in the Prądnik Valley.

You are also at the Spring of Love (well, you're lucky!) - a karst spring. The water flowing out of it falls into a reservoir carved in the shape of a heart.

There is a bench next to it, so your legs can rest too.

Prądnik Valley

Highlight • Gorge

The Prądnik Valley is the longest and most characteristic valley of the Ojców National Park, stretching for about 12 kilometers along the Prądnik River. Its greatest asset is the steep limestone walls, numerous rock outcrops and caves, which create an incredibly picturesque landscape. It is worth preparing for changing conditions - the paths can be wet in places, especially after rain, so good trekking shoes are a good choice. This is a place that allows you to feel the atmosphere of wild nature just a few dozen minutes from Krakow.

Dark Cave

Highlight • Cave

Rejoice, man, because you've come to the right place! This cave is considered one of the best archaeological sites in Poland. It's part of a larger cave complex (over 200 meters of chambers and corridors).

But because it's so valuable, there's also a price list – you can visit it, but for a fee. Tours are for groups, and tickets can be purchased at the cave ticket office – more here: ojcow.pl/informator-turystyczny/jaskinie/jaskinia-ciemna-2
