The East Trail up Evergreen is an easy dirt singletrack that switchbacks lazily up through the pines with multiple lookout points out east toward town and the foothills.

The dirt trail widens out near the switchback and you can climb up onto a rocky ledge which looks out over the landscape to the east.

Parking lot can fill on weekends, at which point there's some spots along the road. People usually come across the east parking lot first so that will be more crowded along the road. Come early or late to get a spot.

From the west parking lot, you can access any area of the park on either side of the road.
