The castle was privately owned in the first half of the 20th century, in 1945 it fell to the Polish state and is now a hotel and apparently also used for weddings, as we saw today.

Leśniańskie Lake Dam and Hydropower Plant

Impressive dam wall, which by Dt. Engineers 1901-1905 was built. German technology from Siemens-Schuckert is still in the machine house. The wall blends in well with the landscape. The upper parking lot at the lake is chargeable. There was delicious, freshly smoked mackerel (St = 20 Zl). The lower parking lot, directly on the street with access to the dam, is free of charge. But here you have to walk about 1km. and you pass the engine house, but you have to use one of the two stairs on the side of the dam to get to the dam.
