Late Baroque Residential House in Milikowice

It has had its share of bad luck being plundered first during the Thirty Years' War and then in the 1960s. It's current owner is the Foundation for the Preservation of Industrial Heritage of Silesia who intends to set up a Museum of Agricultural Technology in the complex. It's not yet open to the public but the gate doesn't appear to be kept closed.

Pałac Morawa

A lovely Neoclassical palace built in 1873 with an extensive English landscape park. The palace is leased by the St Hedwig of Silesia Foundation set up by Melitta Sallai, née von Wietersheim-Kramsta, daughter of the last owners of the palace who fled Morawa in 1945. The foundation runs a crèche for disadvantaged children and organizes German and Polish youth meetings. In 2002 it received a prize for its role in reconciliation of the two nations. The palace has several rooms for rent and a restaurant.
