Finally walked another stage of the Pieterpad. The route has been shortened because we thought 23 km was just a bit too much for now.
The route goes through the forest a lot. Schoonloo Forestry and the Sleenerzand. Beautiful quiet route!!

Today we are going for a walk again from Knollegruun campsite in Schoonloo. The Pieterpad runs straight behind the campsite and starts directly in the woods of Boswachterij Schoonloo. Highly recommended to spend the night here :)

It is a fairly compact forest with many cycle and horse riding paths. We can only imagine that this area is also beautiful …
