This park is very complete, it has everything you need to enjoy, with a proposal of wooden, motor and sand games, with proposals for babies and adults, even for adults, with picnic and relaxation areas and a small artificial pond prepared for bird watching. It is a space to run without danger.

In the park we find wooden games and ropes, for different levels of motor skills and proposals to play with the sand. There is a structure with pulleys to raise sand and lower it through a tube. There are also large slides, two small ones, and a zip line and tire swings.

In short, a park that has everything to the delight of children and adults. Highly recommended.

Riu Congost Greenway

Highlight • Cycleway

La Garriga has two cycle paths and numerous paths to explore by bicycle.

The exit from Plaza del Silencio passes through the Paseo where you can see summer heritage.
Next, you advance through the Narcisa Freixas square until you reach Can Terreros where you can see the archaeological remains of Can Terreros. Continue over the bridge on Bages Street and Ramon Ciurans Street. Finally. It connects with the river path in Llerona, Rosanes and La Almendra, in a route of 3.9km. This route can be done up to 35km to reach Besós beach in a gradient of just under 100 meters.

It descends comfortably parallel to the river, scanning the river, which is on the right, and crop fields on the left. As you go down, you reach a landscape that becomes more urban and industrial. The path has no discontinuity.

Church of Sant Esteve de la Garriga

Highlight • Religious Site

The distance between the church of La Doma and the town suggested building a new temple within the urban core, an agreement that was taken in 1685, but which was not completed until 1737, when it was blessed the church of Sant Esteve. The initial project was signed by the house master Giralt Cerdà, but the masters Ramon Fort, Pau Fadrí and Antoni Alsiu also worked on it. It is known that in 1693 the works were already quite advanced. In a corner of the facade, there is a square with an inscription alluding to the death of a worker in 1691.

It is a building with three naves, the central one covered with a barrel vault with lunettes and topped with a semicircular apse. Attached to the left side is the Santíssimo chapel. On the north-east side there is the bell tower, with a square plan, with three bodies, the upper octagonal. It is crowned with a metal structure of ogival arches. The portal is quite monumental. It is presided over by a modern image of Saint Stephen, the work of local artist Ferran Ventura.

In 1880 the temple had to be closed due to its poor condition and was not reopened until three years later. In 1926, the staircase was built, designed by Josep M. Pericas. Damaged during the Civil War, it had to be restored by Duran and Reynals, who also built the new baptistery.
