After visiting the Weltenburger Enge, also known as the Danube Gorge, by car and boat from Kelheim yesterday, today we drove to Eichstätt and from there cycled to Solnhofen and back. While the Altmühl Valley was rather narrow toward Kelheim, the landscape widened considerably today. A magnificent landscape with pretty villages and plenty of places to stop for refreshments.
