We took advantage of the sunny weather again and went for a leisurely lap in the Kaiserstuhl. First through the middle of the vineyards to Mondhalde, the Schelinger Matten, onto the Katharienpfad through the forest, past the Texas Pass and through the wine-growing villages of Schelingen and Oberbergen back to Oberrotweil.

Another springtime blossom hike on the Kaiserstuhl. We parked at the Mondhalde parking lot in Oberbergen...and then headed steeply uphill. Wonderful panoramic views!
We took a drink break at the Schelinger Kreuz rest area, then descended to Schelingen.
Through Schelingen, we climbed back up to Katharinenberg. The path was lined with a carpet of blossoms, magnificent.
