The lodge is located in a former church in Spui near Terneuzen. The members come from all over Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and the Belgian border region. That the lodge located in Spui is quite unique. There are not many border lodges.
The lodge 'L'Amitié sans Fin' was re-established in Terneuzen on September 30, 1967.
What is a Lodge in Freemasonry? Within Freemasonry in general, a lodge is a material place of meeting and relaxation between or for persons in time and space.

What is Freemasonry?
Anyone who thinks freely wants to meet others who also think freely. You don't want to have someone else's opinion imposed on you. No dogmas. You seek your own route through life. But not lonely, not alone. You are looking for a place where people listen to each other. Freely compare opinions. Searching for answers to life's questions. That's what Freemasons do.

Eben Haëzer Mill

Highlight • Monument

Mill Eben Haëzer is a flour mill from 1807 on the Pootersdijk in Spui. It is a round stone belt mill with a radius of 21.00 meters.

The city council of Axel strongly opposed the construction at the time. They did not want a competitor for their own city mill. However, the French rulers of the time thought differently. It is even claimed that Napoleon Bonaparte personally intervened in the case. The mill has not been in operation since 1952.

Nowadays the mill has been completely restored and still runs regularly. The Eben Haëzer mill can be visited every Saturday from May to October between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. From November 1 to April 1, the mill can be visited every first Sunday of the month between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The mill can also be visited by appointment.

When there is enough wind, the Axel mill from 1750 turns on Saturdays. The flour is used by the Axel bakers to bake the delicious mill bread.

Highlight (Segment) • Lake

Very nice and quiet cycle path, completely separated from the traffic along the water. Halfway along the path there is a nice tavern along the water.

Walking/cycling along the Scheldeboulevard is an experience. You walk/cycle along the busiest river in Europe, the Western Scheldt. Impressive seagoing vessels, tugboats, inland vessels and sailing yachts sail back and forth. You fully enjoy the wide view, the water, the shipping and the often beautiful cloudy skies and sunsets.

Brutalist town hall

Highlight • Monument

The town hall of Terneuzen is a battleship-like building, located on the dike of the Western Scheldt, made of steel, glass, hardwood and especially a lot of beige-grey béton brut. The building was completed in 1972 and was designed by architect professor Jaap Bakema (1914 - 1981).

In the nineties, a building was added to the town hall. Between the two buildings is an underground space of two floors.
