Malta Lake, also known as the Malta Reservoir - an artificial water reservoir located in Poznań on the right bank of the Warta, created as a result of the damming of Cybina. It was put into operation in 1952. The reservoir covers a maximum area of 67.5 ha (depending on the degree of damming) and its length is about 2.2 km (5.6 km in circumference), which makes it the largest artificial water reservoir and the second largest lake in the city in general (after Lake Kierskie). The average depth is just over 3.13 m, and the maximum is about 5 m.
