Bicycle Path Through Kasprowicz Park

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

A new bicycle path has been created on the main route connecting the Monument to the Deed of Poles with the Summer Theatre. You no longer have to avoid families with children and dogs on long leashes. However, you do have to avoid trees growing on the path ;) (the road is still under construction)

Różanka Rose Garden

Highlight • Natural Monument

The current park, opened for walkers on April 20, 2007, was established in the place of Różanka - Rasarium/Rosengarten established in 1928 on the occasion of a gardeners' convention and expanded in the 1930s.
The park is a place for walking, but also a stage for art - for several years in the summer season, on Saturdays and Sundays, various concerts, workshops for children and dance parties are held here. More than nine thousand roses in 99 varieties have been planted in the garden, as well as other valuable plant species.
In the southern part of the complex, developed with perennial plants, a fountain was built, consisting of two reservoirs (upper and lower). Its part were sculptures of four birds (geese or swans) by Kurt Schwerdtfeger, hence the name "Bird well".
