Heck Cattle Meadow Crossing

There are certain beneficial behaviors in cattle, especially bulls: walk slowly, do not approach the animals head-on, do not look straight in the eye, keep the dog tight on a leash.

It is a really wonderful tour! Very diverse, mostly you walk directly along the banks of the Bünzau. In May, the scent of lily of the valley must be intoxicating. If you start walking in the north, you could easily take a hammock with you and in the south, in the Arpsdorf area, take a nice rest between the beautiful …

Visiting the beloved north and accompanied by my sweet fur niece (my brother's dog), we went through the nature park near Aukrug today.
You have to be careful in places because of fox mange, but otherwise the area is beautiful.

October 28th, 21°, clear to cloudy, end of shift: definitely the last chance this year to use the daylight for a tour after work.

I chose one of my favorites in the Aukrug Nature Park, namely the series of three hiking trails in Bünzau.

I copied this fantastic tour from @Kat, I think @Dr. G. was already here too 😉 Thank you for the inspiration!! Such a great area, I was completely enchanted 🥰 Today everything was perfect - sun, pleasant t-shirt weather again, hardly any mosquitoes (at least they don't bite anymore, they are slowly becoming lethargic) and easy to walk paths. Shortly …

One of my favorite tours in the Aukrug Nature Park - and after work, just a short detour.
The weather seemed very friendly, and the idea came to me to check again what the Heck cattle (ERNA) are up to.
However, they weren't up to anything - or rather, I couldn't see what they were up to because I didn't …

My favorite route in the Aukrug Nature Park: Bünzau hiking trails. I love riverside paths and the Bünzau offers long stretches of these in this section. The path is mostly natural. The "ERNAs" (Heck cattle) were, as so often, hardly visible... I was able to spot them in the distance shortly before the end of the tour.

Subtitle: 'Bünzau hiking trails strung together' or 'you will walk over 7 bridges and 4 streams (Bünzau, Bredenbek, Sellbek, Glasbek).'

This tour, which crosses rivers nine times, is my favorite route in the Aukrug Nature Park. In addition to the many bridges, the riverside paths along the Bünzau are simply fun. I haven't been here for a few months now. …

The autumn weather🍂🍁 is currently good for us..... plenty of sun☀️, sometimes still foggy in the morning🌫️..... spring-like 17 degrees 👕..... what more could you want.
Plus, we have a day off, so off we go into nature.
I rejected several plans and decided on this round and it was "spot on" like this golden October day.
I parked 🅿️ …
