The drinking hall with its legend paintings is always worth seeing. At Christmas time there is a nativity scene exhibition for those who are interested. The Christmas market in Baden-Baden lasts until Epiphany.

Theater Baden-Baden

Highlight • Monument

A beautiful 19th-century building. Neoclassical on the exterior, French Rococo on the interior. It has a permanent ensemble for spoken theater, mostly classics. Occasional guest performances, including operas, are also held. The theater is also the venue for the New Pop Festival. The rooms, especially the foyer, can also be rented for private purposes. It is popular for weddings.

Baden-Baden in spring is really a dream. There is hardly anything nicer than strolling along Lichtentaler Allee and ending at Café Lumen.

We have visitors, Philipp and Kathlyn from Canada. In glorious weather, we stroll through the city center and along the Lichtentaler Allee.
We had hoped to wander through the park at the New Palace. However, the gate to the park is still locked, but it is supposed to be opened in the course of 2026.

An autumn day in Baden-Baden practically begs for a museum visit. We went to the Frieder Burda Museum with its exhibition "Impressionists in Germany." Such a journey back in time is wonderful – especially in autumn 🍂🍂. 🍁

From the car park in Lichtental - free on Sundays - it's a 3.5km walk through Lichtentaler Allee to the town centre. With this great weather, there's obviously a lot going on. Long queues formed in front of the ice cream parlours.

We like to take our visitors to Baden-Baden and walk along the magnificent Lichtentaler Allee.
We begin our walk at the Trinkhalle (pump hall) on Kaiserallee. This long, open promenade was built in the mid-19th century in the spa gardens and features 14 murals depicting the region's legends and myths. The Kurhaus (spa house) with its casino evokes times gone …

On our way from the Upper Black Forest to northern Spain we went to Baden Baden today to make up for the flight that was canceled a week ago. In Baden Baden we still had time for a short tour of the sophisticated spa town.

The tour was actually supposed to continue a little but our friends from Spain with their little Yorkshire Terrier didn't want to as much as we did 😂 no matter!

Baden-Baden is a very beautiful city anyway...🙋‍♂️
